How many VI Peel treatments do I need?

Most people see a difference after one session. However, for the best results, we recommend three to six sessions every two to four weeks.

Are the results of VI Peel permanent?

The skin is constantly changing, and just like with any other type of skincare, VI Peel requires maintenance. We recommend getting VI Peel three to four times a year after the initial sessions have been completed.

Yes. VI Peel is safe and efficient for all skin types, including darker skin profiles that previously did not have the same quality of peels available.

Does VI Peel hurt?

You may feel a slight stinging sensation in the very beginning of the treatment, but that will go down very quickly. Some people don’t feel anything.

How does VI Peel work?

VI Peel creates micro-damage to the very top layer of your skin. This makes the skin peel off while stimulating the production of new tissue. After the peeling period is over, your skin will be smooth and glowing.

For how long will my skin peel?

Accepted Answer

You can expect a peeling period of 7 days once the peeling begins. You will likely notice that your skin is a little yellow, tan, or red for the first two days after your treatment before the peeling begins. If you have pigmentation, these areas might also darken in the first couple of days after treatment. This is normal and will go away. You also might see some scabbing in certain areas which will diminish with the healing process.

What do I need to do when I come home after getting VI Peel?

We recommend you treat it like a sunburn. Avoid the sun and heat, and avoid sweating. Make sure you apply SPF 50 every day until the peeling period is completed and after, as your skin will be extra sensitive to the UV rays after a peel.

How quickly after VI Peel can I go back to my normal skincare and makeup routine?
