Do you numb before injecting fillers?

Yes, we do. Just make sure to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment to allow for enough time for the numbing cream to work.

Will fillers cause me to bruise or be swollen?

Yes, there is a high possibility that you will have some bruising and swelling. We recommend using arnica gel or pills to reduce swelling and bruising. You can also carefully apply some ice to the injected area to reduce swelling.

Can I get lip filler before or after getting dental work?

Accepted Answer

You have to wait at least two weeks after any dental work (including a standard cleaning) before getting lip fillers. After lip fillers, you must wait at least four weeks before you can go to the dentist. If you are having oral surgery, you must wait at least four weeks before or after getting lip fillers.

Is aftercare needed for fillers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Avoid alcohol for up to 24 hours after treatment. Do not take any blood thinners for seven days after your treatment and avoid excessive pressure on the areas for up to three days. Make sure to be gentle when cleansing the area and stay away from strenuous activities for the remainder of the treatment day. Stay out of the sun until redness and/or swelling has subsided and always wear at least SPF 30. Wait at least four weeks before receiving skincare or laser treatments.
